Requirements:

The candidates should have a relevant National Teaching Diploma or a relevant REQV 13 qualification.  At least one year relevant teaching experience. An Assessor or Moderator qualification will be an added advantage.

Key performance Area:

Able to lecture relevant subjects at all levels.  Moderate PoEs of students. Prepare lesson plans. Prepare PoAs file. Liaise with Student Support Services. Control class registers. Take part in extra-curricular activities. To assist in registration of students. Assess all assessment tasks.

PL2 Senior Lecturer: Business Studies x1 Ref: SEKTVET24/2015 CS Barlow (36 Months)

Requirements:

REQV 13 or equivalent qualifications. At least 3 years teaching experience at a TVET College. SACE certificate. Assessor and/or moderator qualifications will be an added advantage. Must be computer literate.

Key Performance Areas:

Monitor all lecturers under his/her supervision. Compile test and exam time tables. Moderate PoEs and PoAs. Lecture and monitor all class activities. Conduct class visits.

PL2 Senior Lecturer: Engineering X1 Ref: SEKTVET25/2015 CN Phatudi Campus (36 Months)

Requirements:

Three year Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Valid SACE certificate. Three years Lecturing /Teaching experience at a TVET College.  Assessor, Moderator, Trade test and Teaching certificates are an added advantage. Applicants should ensure that they attach academic records in case where subject credits are not reflected on their degrees or diplomas certificates.

Key Performance Areas

Monitor all lecturers under his /her supervision.  Compile test and exam time tables.  Moderate PoEs and PoAs.  Lecture and monitor all class activities.  Ensure that workshops are equipped and practical work is done and completed on time.  Conduct class visits

Project Coordinator x1 Ref:SEKTVET26/2015 Central Office Salary Level 07 (College paid) 36 Months Contract.

Requirements:

National Diploma/ Degree in Human Resource Development or equivalent qualification. Qualified Skills Development Facilitator, In-depth knowledge of TVET College Curriculum, Skills Development Act, Labour relations Act, SETA’s and SAQA. At least three years work experience in Learnership and skills programme, Learnership implementation, Report writing and verbal communication skills. Project budgeting and Financial Management Skills. Must have a valid driver’s license. Project Management will be ad added advantage.

Key Performance Areas

Coordinate the implementation of Learnership and Skills Programmes co-ordinate recruitment and selection of learners for Learnerships and Skills Programmes, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the learning programmes at training and employment sites; ensure the compliance with both Quality Management System and Skills Development Legislations; ensure the management of human, financial and physical resources: manage training budget for all programmes; assist in developing funding proposals to SETAs and other relevant stakeholders including Business Industries and Government Departments for learning training.

Library Assistant x 1 Ref: SEKTVET27/2015 CN Phatudi Campus Salary Level 04 (12 Months Contract).

Requirements:

A degree or diploma in library or information science and at least one (1) year’s relevant experience. Competency in library skills (cataloguing and classifications).

Key Performance Area:

Conduct needs analysis in the college and establish structure to provide access to information. Classify and catalogue all library resources. Produce monthly and quarterly reports, together with the expenditure section.

Trainee Internal Auditor x1 Ref: SEKTVET282015 Central Office Stipend: R2200.00 (12 Months Contract).

Requirements:

The candidates must have a National Diploma in Internal Auditing and must be at least 18 – 35 years old.

Key Performance Area

Document process description and assess business risk.  Develop internal audit programs and procedures.  Execute operational and compliance audits.  Gather and maintain supporting documentation for each audit and control objective addressed.  Prepare draft reports for discussion with line managers.  Performing follow-up audits.

A CALL TO SERVE ON THE SEKHUKHUNE TVET COLLEGE COUNCIL IN TERMS OF SECTION 10(4) (b) of the FET ACT 16 OF 2006 (as amended)

Sekhukhune TVET College invites members of:

(a)   The Public

(b)   Universities, University of Technologies, Private Sector, other Higher Education Colleges, Provincial Government and Municipal Governance.

With knowledge and experience relevant to the objects and governance of public institution to serve in the audit committee and finance committee.

Interested persons must have sound knowledge in the following areas:

(a)   Finance

(b)   Auditing
